Send First School 50th Anniversary

In celebration of fifty years, the Governing Body and PTA are joining forces to hold the largest ever Summer Fayre the school has had on Saturday 12 July between 1pm - 5pm. 

You will find all the regular features of the already popular Summer Fayre (raffle, tombolas, children's activities, coconut shy etc) but this year combined not only with an opportunity to have a look through Send First School's past 5 decades in education, but also with some extra special attractions.  There will be a fantastic climbing wall (as long as it is dry!), Punch and Judy shows, an F1 simulator, jewellery making workshops, a children's storyteller, along with a hog roast, Pimms tent, cream teas, ice-creams etc.  All together, and for only a nominal entry fee, this should be a greaty day out for all the family, past pupils and residents of Send and Ripley.

We are still interested in hearing from you if you were a pupil at Send as a child or you have family or friends who were.  Could you provide us with memories of your times there?  It may be special trips away or lifelong friendships.  You may have old photos, or better still, items of old uniform or schoolbooks.
